Workshops
This 6-week program will cover floor mechanics, how to shift weight, and how to use the floor in your dancing, regardless of dance style. Tricks will build on foundational acro techniques like handstands, cartwheels, and somersaults. Tricks we will work on include kip-ups, headsprings, swipes, and other floor tricks. Class is open to all styles.

Every athlete benefits from cross-training, and dancers are no exception. While swimmers need varied exercises to build muscles and prevent injury, dancers also need a diverse workout routine to enhance their performance and protect their bodies. Historically, dancers have shied away from weightlifting due to myths about muscle bulk and flexibility loss. These are misconceptions! Weight training is crucial for dancers to increase bone density, protect joints, prevent injuries, and improve overall movement confidence.
