MJ Wolff

Creative Director

Growing up in the charming town of Charleston, South Carolina, MJ began dancing at the young age of three years old. She fell in love with the art form from the very beginning. She trained hard, competed intensely, and performed as if it was second nature. She has performed in Calvin Gilmore's Serenade, The Carolina Opry and at the world famous House of Blues, to name a few. While away at Coastal Carolina University, she had the opportunity to take her passion for dance and inspire beautiful young dancers in the Grand Strand of Myrtle Beach, SC. She believes strongly in being a positive role model for her students, teaching them values that range from life lessons to the proper way to grande jeté. While attending CCU, she was the dance captain for the Coastalettes collegiate dance team, performing with the Spirit of the Chanticleer marching band at football halftime shows and basketball games. After graduating in May, 2012, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and a minor in Spanish, she picked up her southern roots to chase her dreams in Los Angeles, California. There she studied dance at Debbie Reynolds dance studio, The EDGE Performing Arts Center, and Millennium. She can be seen in a Film One Production commercial for Jacuzzi, and then moved back to Myrtle Beach to perform as dance captain at The Palace Theatre in multiple different production shows for the past four years, shows such as Illusions of Magic, Cirque Extreme, and Hot Jersey Nights. She acquired her sea legs onboard Holland America cruise lines performing in shows for the five month Alaska season as well. She has also choreographed and directed Welcome to Myrtle Beach commercial for the Chamber of Commerce, co-choreographed Anything Goes for Carolina Forest High School, and was a choreographer for Socastee High School’s Amp Up Your Holidays Christmas show. Her competitive choreography has received many highest score awards, most entertaining, and first overalls. Most recently, she has stepped back onto the stage performing in Charleston’s Pecha Kucha Arts Festival and she is looking forward to many more to come.
