Tasha Skipps

Tasha Skipps: Company Co-Director

Tasha has been dancing since the age of 5, and spent 12 years training at South Coast in styles such as contemporary, jazz, hip hop, ballet, tap and musical theater. She has won numerous awards and titles dancing with South Coast's Company, which she was a part of for 10 years, including being named Miss Headliner 2 years in a row and receiving top honors for her solo pieces. Tasha was invited to participate in the Rockette Summer Intensive and trained with the Joffrey Ballet Summer Intensive in New York City in 2010, as well as being accepted into The Joffrey Ballet School program for Jazz and Contemporary Dance. In addition to dance, Tasha has performed in numerous plays at South Coast, with her first starring role at the age of 11 as "Dorothy" in THE WIZARD OF OZ. Other roles have included "Annie" in ANNIE, Little Red in INTO THE WOODS and "Diana Morales" in a children's version of A CHORUS LINE.  Most recently Tasha Performed the role of "Rita" in WHITE CHRISTMAS at Goldenwest College and a Mermaid/Indian Dancer in PETER PAN with Tustin's Broadway in the Park 3D Theatricals.
